    In this time of sadness and national mourning, on behalf of the Members of Northrepps Parish Council and the residents of Northrepps, I offer sincerest condolences to the members of the Royal Family on the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.

    A book of condolence will be opened at Northrepps Church on Friday 09 September 2022.  We will advise once it is in place.  Condolences can also be emailed to [email protected] .

    We will be making a further announcement about the timings of proclamations and Church services and also about the laying of floral tributes.  Charitable donations to the late Queen’s charities in lieu of flowers are encouraged.  Further details will be published on royal.uk over the coming days.

     

  • HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND

    Do you live in Northrepps and is anyone in your household over 65?

    Do you live in Northrepps and is everyone in your household aged under 65 but includes an individual(s) with a disability and a carer?

    Northrepps Parish Council have been awarded some funding from the Household Support Fund and can award households within the above categories who are vulnerable to the rising cost of living, a grant of up to £100.  This can be for energy and heating bills; water bills; wi-fi, landline and phone bills; winter warmth essentials such as hot water bottles, heated/electric blankets, winter duvets, blankets, warm clothing and slow cookers.

    If your household is facing financial hardship due to the increased cost of living and meets the above criteria please contact the Parish Clerk for an application form.  Only one application per household is permitted.  Successful applicants will be paid by cheque.

    Any persons interested in tendering for either of the above mentioned contracts are asked to contact the Clerk to the Council for further information.

    The Casual Vacancy on Northrepps Parish Council has been filled by Erica Redmond.

  • OVERGROWN VERGES, FOOTPATHS AND POTHOLES

    We are receiving an increasing number of reports of highway issues such as potholes and overgrown verges which we are forwarding to NCC Highways.  Any highway matters can also be reported directly via this link https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/roads-and-transport/roads/report-a-problem

  • TREE WORKS AT NORTHREPPS PLAYING FIELD

    Following a recent inspection of the trees on Northrepps Parish Council land, we are inviting any persons interested in quoting for the identified tree works to email [email protected] for further information.

    The deadline for receipt of quotations is 31 May 2021.

    Evidence of public liability insurance of £5m will be required.

    Please note that the works will not be carried out until after the nesting season.
